South Africa’s largest independent private employment service provider, Transman has grown in leaps and bounds from its inception in 1983 and has even been responsible for changing labour legislation to better protect temporary employees in Industry. Despite the often harsh and constraining operating environment that the company operates under even during current tough economic conditions that have seen many businesses cease to exist, Transman’s expertise in flexibility has proven to overcome such impediments.

In addition to employing 240 full-time employees, Transman has also placed more than 3 million employees in numerous job categories since its inception with Ms Angela Dick, CEO, having being honoured with numerous awards including recently being recognised as one of the Global Top 100 Most Influential Women in Emerging Economies. She was presented with a USA Special Congressional Proclamation, as well as the Centre for Economic and Leadership Development Global Inspirational Women Leadership Award in conjunction with the United Nations, 2016, on 13 December in Dubai.
Ms Dick attributes her success to the passion she has for the industry and the passion she has for the well-being of South Africa and its people.

As far as training and development is concerned, Ms Dick says that Transman recognises and actively promotes the national skills development strategy for all its staff to ensure their upliftment, financial security and therefore the economic growth of South Africa.

We are also able to assist with the logistics of arranging national training on behalf of our clients as we have many years of experience in this area. Together with developing detailed training programmes, we attend to logistical issues such as providing conference venues, buses from a variety of areas in South Africa to as well as utilising our own fleet to transport trainees to conference/training venues.
